What is Evansville Resistance?

Mission: Evansville Resistance is a grassroots organization whose mission is to improve the lives of the residents of Evansville and the surrounding community through community action.

In Action: We do this by upholding the ideals that all people are truly equal, the power of government is in the hands of the people, and all voices deserve to be raised.  We believe in the principles of community, mutual aid, and self sufficiency. We believe in direct action within our community and prioritize this as a route  to change the lives of everyone who lives in Evansville and the surrounding areas. 

By working with, listening, to and taking guidance from those whose voices most often get marginalized we build diverse, equitable, and inclusive communities that are long-term, sustainable, and self-sufficient.   

By leaning on each other we build a community that can weather any storm because Undivided we rise.
